Під час вебінару учасники ознайомилися з оновленою EMT Competence Framework (Рамкою компетентностей EMT), яка визначає ключові професійні та цифрові компетентності, необхідні сучасному перекладачеві. У цьому контексті було представлено широкий спектр цифрових інструментів, зокрема платформи для співпраці та рефлексії Padlet і VoiceThread, професійні CAT-інструменти (Trados Studio, memoQ, Phrase та Smartcat), термінологічні бази даних, а також інструменти на основі штучного інтелекту.
Особливу увагу було приділено цифровим мовним технологіям Європейської Комісії, зокрема сервісам eTranslation, eSummary та Speech-to-Text. Учасники також ознайомилися зі Scroller — спеціалізованим інструментом для тренування перекладу з аркуша, а також із платформою Wordscope, яка об’єднує можливості машинного перекладу, термінологічні ресурси, корпуси та інструменти штучного інтелекту в єдиному робочому середовищі.
During the webinar, participants were introduced to the updated EMT Competence Framework, which defines the key professional and digital competences required of today’s translators. In this context, a wide range of digital tools was presented, including collaboration and reflection platforms such as Padlet and VoiceThread, professional CAT tools (Trados Studio, memoQ, Phrase, and Smartcat), terminology databases, and AI-powered tools.
Particular attention was given to the European Commission’s digital language technologies, including eTranslation, eSummary, and Speech-to-Text services. Participants also explored Scroller, a specialised tool for sight translation practice, and Wordscope, a platform that integrates machine translation, terminology resources, corpora, and artificial intelligence tools into a single working environment.
